Told mostly from the perspective of Hadley Richardson, Ernest Hemingway’s wife, The Paris Wife is a book about love and betrayal set in glittering and bohemian Paris in the 1920’s. Inspired by Hemingway’s A Moveable Feast, Paula McLain wondered about the woman behind the man. Hadley was Hemingway’s first of many wives but arguably his most beloved.
